In the heart of the Douro Valley, The Nose Lab was invited to be part of the launch of Kika Douro Rosé 2025, a limited edition wine created by Francisca van Zellar — a celebration of identity, emotion and the unique character of the Douro.
For this special occasion, our perfumer Wilian Botignon created Kika, an exclusive fragrance inspired by the wine itself. More than recreating its aromas, the challenge was to translate its personality into scent — capturing the freshness, elegance and sensory universe behind this new rosé.
Alongside the presentation of Kika fragrance, guests were invited to discover our Perfume Bar, an interactive olfactory experience where they explored different perfumery ingredients and selected the notes they connected with the most.
Guided by their own memories, emotions and preferences, each guest created a personal fragrance — a unique olfactory souvenir from this moment in the Douro.
